Video showing Jim Carrey Forcibly Kissing Alicia Silverstone re-emerges after he criticizes Will Smith

Jim Carrey came under fire after condemning Will Smith for the Oscars slap and the resurfacing of a film showing him “forcibly kissing” Alicia Silverstone.

After slapping comedian Chris Rock on stage in response to a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia, the actor, now 60, was upset when the celebrity audience at the Oscars gave Smith a standing ovation after he won Best Actor.

The actor came under fire after calling the Will Smith and Chris Rock encounter “sickening” in a statement.

On social media, a video of him forcibly kissing Alicia Silverstone on the lips at an awards event 25 years ago went viral.

The video is of Carrey, then 35, allegedly forcing a kiss on the mouth of Silverstone, then 19, as the latter won the award for outstanding comic performance for Cable Guy at the 1997 MTV Movie Awards.

Smith was announced as the winner of the Best Kiss award during the same 1997 event, and Carrey was seen attempting to kiss him. As Smith attempted to shove him away, Carrey was seen grabbing him by the neck and sticking his tongue out toward his face.
Following the commotion caused by Will’s slap, Jim was called a “hypocrite” and “scum” on Twitter by opponents who claimed that Jim had “assaulted” someone.

A comment that read, “Says the person who sexually attacked Alicia Silverstone on stage,” is just one example of how Carrey has been the focus of many.

Jim Carrey was 35 and Alicia Silverstone was 19. Don’t discuss the alleged assault on Will that occurred when you sexually assaulted Alicia. Observe her response to what he did.
