Sharon Stone says she can’t stop s-x scene cut of ‘Basic Instinct’

Sharon Stone claims that a more explicit version of her successful film “Basic Instinct” is in the works, and she isn’t happy about it.

The actress delivered some news on the Australian TV show “A Current Affair.”
“I think there’s more to come on that,” Stone remarked. “They’ve decided to release the director’s s-x scene cut on the 30th.”

Stone’s rise to popularity was aided by the 1992 romantic thriller starring Stone and Michael Douglas.
Stone believes “there’s a certain tone-deafness, when it comes to this type of behaviour, that people simply want to continue to push forward, and ignore the thoughts and sentiments of how women in general feel about this,” in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
“It’s how the general public feels about it,” she remarked. “I can assure you that no one asked me how I felt about it.”
The plot revolves around a police detective, played by Douglas, who has an affair with Stone’s character, who is a suspect in a murder he’s investigating.

A sequence in which Stone crossed and uncrossed her legs suggestively during a police questioning drew a lot of attention and was even parodied in a few projects.
The actress claimed she was mislead since she was not informed ahead of time that her body parts would be exposed in that scenario.
