A blonde once got lost near a river. She traveled up and down it searching for a way to get to the other side. She tried walking in the shallow part of the river, and she even tried grabbing onto a branch that stretched over the river to swing to the other side.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t find a way across.
Just as she was about to give up, a man walked up and asked what she was doing. She explained her predicament, and the man said, “Oh, you’re trying to get to the other side of the river? Why didn’t you just use the bridge?”
The blonde looked at him in confusion and asked, “What bridge?”
“The one right behind you,” the man replied, pointing to a bridge just a few feet away. The blonde sheepishly thanked the man and crossed the bridge, relieved to have finally found a way to the other side.
