Even though Hugh Jackman is one of Hollywood’s top s-x icons, Jennifer Garner finds it “horrifying” to recall recording a s-x scene with the “X-Men” actor for the film “Butter.”
At the Los Angeles AFI Fest premiere of “Butter,” Garner said to E!, “Of course, it was like the first day we worked together.” “That’s how it always is. It’s like, “Nice to meet you, let’s moan and groan,” all the time. I’ve always loved [Jackman’s]. It was just horrible.
The film “Butter” explores the bizarre world of a butter-carving contest at the Iowa State Fair. Garner portrays Laura Pickler, an ambitious wife who picks up a carving knife after her champion butter-carver husband quits the contest. Jackman portrays her former flame.
Some people have pointed out how Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, two female Republican contenders, appear similar to Garner’s fashion in “Butter.” But according to the movie’s director, Hillary Clinton is actually the inspiration for Garner’s character.
According to Jim Field Smith of Entertainment Weekly, “as you start to peel away the layers of the movie, you realise that there’s a lot of political metaphor.” Bill Clinton was a beloved president who may not have been as subtle with his s-xual preferences, while Hillary quietly stood by his side in the background. There was a sense that Hillary was saying, “My turn now,” when his two terms were up.
Garner claimed that none of these three women had any influence on her performance. I didn’t even look at the political leaders of today, she admitted. “You’ll just have to read into that yourself as far as the political things,” she said.
