British actress Sophie Turner made her professional acting debut in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones, which is based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels. Sophie found international fame and critical acclaim while portraying Sansa Stark, a major character who has been a part of the series since the first season.
