Jessica Biel believes in the need of s-xual education but also that it’s acceptable to learn and have fun.
The 35-year-old actress has partnered with WomanCare Global (WCG) to create a number of videos as part of a brand-new campaign called The Tryst Network that aims to lightheartedly raise awareness of s-xual health.
At the 2018 MAKERS Conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Biel spoke candidly with Saundra Pelletier, CEO and Executive Director of Evofem Biosciences, about what she learned about her body after giving birth to her son Silas and what she is already teaching him about the human reproductive system.
According to Biel, “I still go back to this idea that everything doesn’t have to be too serious.”
“We are now beginning. We’re using specialised language, “Speaking of discussing his body with her and Justin Timberlake’s 2-year-old son, she said. “We merely discuss it. Even though I am aware of how young he is, I firmly feel there is no guilt in starting this early.”
The Sinner actress also said that she had struggled to maintain her health following the birth of Silas because she felt a little lost. This notion that “I need to lose weight as quickly as I can in order to be small and look gorgeous again,” she observed. “There is a lot of pressure outside, and there’s sort of a mom rivalry to see who can get skinny the fastest. The worst thing you could possibly do is that.”
Biel went on, “To feed your child, you are unable to produce. That really caught me off guard; whoa. Really, I was taught how to eat correctly.”
The actress said that she has certain concerns about how her body functions even before giving birth. She admitted, “Of course I know how to do it, but I didn’t completely know how to do it when I was thinking about establishing a family.
Further disclosing her relationship with Timberlake, Biel gushed, “I feel like I [now] know my body well enough to be able to tell if I’m not ready to have more children, and if I’m not, I’ll know and check myself out before having s-x. Since I no longer need to take the pill, that makes me feel wonderful.”
