Salma Hayek has been on a mission to find a marriage for Angelina Jolie in her enthusiasm to play matchmaker.
The Eternals performers are currently working closely together on the film Without Blood, which is being written, directed, and produced by the mother of six.
“Angie envies how Salma found herself a worldly soulmate and would desire that type of person for herself,” a source close to the situation told OK Magazine.
In June of last year, Jolie and her ex Jonny Lee Miller were briefly associated after she was spotted walking up to his Brooklyn bachelor house with a bottle of wine in her hand.
They didn’t appear to restart their romance, despite insiders saying they had a “great time” “laughing and remembering” their former moments together.
She wasn’t interested in going back in time after all, according to the source cited in a print version of Star Magazine.
According to the media, Jolie was inspired by Hayek’s relationship with her millionaire businessman husband, François-Henri Pinault.
The source told the publication that the 47-year-old Hollywood diva is searching for a spouse who “can be her intellectual equal.”
And Hayek is prepared to start hunting for a compatible date for her.
She is already trying to set Angie up with some dates, the person claimed.
The two have been at odds over custody of their children, including the twins Knox and Vivienne as well as Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, ever since Jolie and Pitt announced their separation from each other in 2016.
