Christina Hendricks has expressed pride in her curvaceous body.
The Mad Men actress recalled her modelling days and expressed her joy at gaining weight.
She told Health magazine: “The first time I went to Italy, I was drinking cappuccinos every day, and I put on 15 pounds back when I was modelling. And I looked stunning!
“I never attempted to lose it because I enjoyed it,” she said. “I would take my clothes off in front of the mirror and be like, ‘Oh, I look like a woman.'”
The actress added that she finds it surprising when people praise her physique.
“Really? What about Jessica Alba? Because I say as much! “She laughed.
It’s such a complement because of all the times my agents told me, “You need to drop some weight,” and now everyone is praising me for it.
