Kate Winslet says n-de scenes are ‘profoundly bizarre’ and ‘unethical’

Actress Kate Winslet has been called the hypocrite of the decade after declaring she would never again strip off for the camera.

The Oscar winner thinks it’s “profoundly strange” and “unethical” to flash the corpse in front of a camera. She has made a wholly n-ked appearance in movies like “Titanic” and “Mildred Pierce.”

“I abhor it! Do not be misled; I simply get to work, Winslet told V Magazine. I simply enter and say, “Oh f**k, let’s do it,” and then it happens. If you moan about it or put it off, nothing will change.

Winslet continued, “It’s a terribly weird thing to do.” “As actors, you bring it up frequently. What the f**k are we doing? you ask the other actor while actually entangled in blankets. Dear Mum, I had so-and-left so’s nut sack rubbed against my face at work today.

If you consider it in those words, it is sort of unethical.

Yes, I can understand how a bad day at work may result from getting rubbed with someone’s nut sack.

Whether you agree with it or not, the actress was honoured with an Academy Award in 2008 for her electrifying performance in The Reader.

Since she’s vowed not to “f***ing bother,” the 35-year-old actress hopes her anxieties last.

In an interview with V magazine, Kate said, “I hope I s*** myself over the roles I play for the rest of my life. Because the day I go, ‘Oh yeah, that’s going to be a piece of pie,’ why f***ing bother? You won’t learn if you do that.

“I want to learn something new every day. So I received an Oscar. It’s incredible. That is something I will always have for a performance I am proud of. It almost took my life. I’m quite proud of the movie. Now let’s go on.

It’s wonderful that Winslet can find delight in other elements of her work that don’t include her privates since n-de sequences don’t seem to be her favourite aspect of her career.

Winslet’s Mildred Pierce co-star Guy Pearce said in June that the actress didn’t want her breasts to be shown during the sex scenes in the HBO miniseries.
