It is true that the rivalry between The Voice coaches Ariana Grande Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend exists. But everyone also acknowledges the extraordinary talent of their colleagues coaches.
An illustration of this was when viewers recently saw a preview of Jimmy Fallon’s upcoming music and comedy variety game programme That’s My Jam, which will air on January 3. The Voice coaches were split into two teams for the premiere episode of the new NBC series, Kelly/John and Blake/Ariana, to compete on stage while showcasing their tremendous vocal prowess.
But before the victorious team was announced, the last round pitted Kelly and Ariana against one another in a pop-themed Mixtape Medley Showdown. The two singers alternated between performing hits by Britney Spears, Cher, and Céline Dion, among other artists. Before Kelly started singing “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, it appeared that the outcome would be a close race.
Although Ariana had already performed the late artist’s song “How Will I Know,” when she heard Kelly, she quickly came to a complete halt. Ariana threw up her hands and started to leave the platform, looking as though she didn’t know what to do with herself. To view it for yourself, go to the 3:33 mark in the video above.
At the conclusion of the contest, Kelly and John were declared the champions. Nevertheless, others who were following the event on YouTube believed they were both champions.
Kelly was outstanding. Ariana was excellent. Their vocal harmonies were superb. One customer wrote, “I need more of this! Another person said, “This is really magnificent. We knew they were excellent before. “I just can’t stop watching this. Lovely work, Kelly and Ariana! “,” a different supporter chimed in.
Without a doubt, we concur! And it was clear from her fangirling that Ariana had no grudges despite losing. These two are masters of the big performance!
