It’s every starlet’s greatest nightmare: walking down the red carpet without realising your boob is protruding from your gown.
Adriana Abenia, a Spanish presenter, experienced this fear as she posed on the red carpet at the GQ Man of the Year awards in Madrid on Thursday night, flashing a little more than her pearly whites.
The 33-year-old, dressed in a gorgeous, lacy Juana Martin gown, paused to look at the assembled photographers, unaware that her left nipple had burst free from its man-made sheath and was running for its life.
It may be described as nipping out.
She continued to grin, oblivious to the gentle caress of the Spanish winter breeze, while the eager snappers went crazy for THE shot of the night – not thinking to alert the beauty to her fashion faux pas.
Adriana was finally informed that she would be providing the press dinner and entertainment, and she hurriedly adjusted her strap with a mortified expression on her face.
The blonde beauty, with her jaw on the floor, flung a hand to her mouth as she gasped and hurriedly looked away from the cameras, recognising what had just happened.
Adriana, on the other hand, appeared to take it in stride, as she continued to pose for other shots inside the event, seemingly unfazed by a minor nip slip.
To be fair, it’s a lovely gown that deserves more attention.
Even when it was performing its job of concealing what needed to be concealed, the onyx gown left a lot to the imagination, as the sheer panels barely covered the model’s body underneath.
